FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS AND BREATHING APPARATUS
There are fixed and portable, allowing to extinguish any type of fire that occurs in the vessel and that puts it, its crew members and/or passengers at risk. In the case of the breathing equipment, these allow the entry of the firefighting team to extinguish the fire without discomfort from the smoke intoxication or, in any case, allow the escape of people who may be trapped within the area of the accident.These are manufactured in accordance with SOLAS, IMO and related regulations. We offer systems, fire-fighting and breathing equipment properly certified according to your needs.
According to SOLAS, IMO regulations and the Fire Safety Systems Code (FSS), ships must have fixed and portable fire-fighting systems.
The fixed systems can be carbonic gas (CO2), foam, dry or wet chemical powder, water or others according to the area to be protected and/or the type of vessel.
